Summary: Orbiting approximately 250 miles above Earth, the International Space Station is a one-of-a-kind research laboratory. This facility is making possible new technologies for future Artemis missions to the Moon and Mars, with a commitment to also apply the knowledge gained to solving ground-based challenges. We will explore new projects that are studying minerals in Earth's dust, microbes in soils, and biopolymer soil composites. Relevant instructional resources will also be included.
