Background: Explore NASA Earth science resources for solving problems and creating project-based learning opportunities for students. Participants will review lessons for field trip observations of water sources with NASA’s “Water Walk Field Trip” and “River Walk Field Trip” educator guides. Lessons will include calculating stream flow, reviewing satellite studies of watersheds and modeling a catchment basin. We will focus on experiential learning strategies.
