¿Le gustaría explorar los recursos de STEM del Programa Artemis y utilizarlos con sus estudiantes? Acompáñenos en esta presentación de una hora sin costo donde entre otras cosas exploraremos como la NASA está expandiendo la exploración humana al visitar la Luna y después Marte. El nuevo programa de exploración lunar que llevará a la primera mujer y a la primera persona de color en la superficie de la Luna es llamado Artemis. La siguiente misión de la NASA a Marte es llamada Marte 2020. En éste seminario hablaremos del programa Artemis y exploraremos recursos educativos relacionados con ésta misión para compartir con los estudiantes conceptos de ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM) como son: Space Launch System (SLS), Orion, The Gateway, Deep Space Communication, Landing Humans.

Summary:

As we prepare to begin the Artemis missions to send humans to the Moon and on to Mars, NASA's Office of STEM Engagement is creating educator modules that will allow teachers to help their students develop the skills needed to move us into the future. These resources include activities and accompanying background information related to the Space Launch System rocket, Orion capsule, the Gateway spacecraft, deep space communications, and what it takes to land humans on the Moon. Join us as we explore how to use these resources to teach STEM concepts that relate to NASA's Artemis missions. The webinar will also provide a quick walkthrough of other educational resources and opportunities including Digital Badges (micro-credentials).
