Free Webinar for K-12!!! Explore Earth – Humans in Space

FREE 1-hour webinar for educators in Grades K-12

Astronaut in big bulky space suit is waving to the camera, while holding onto the side of the ISS (International Space Station), which is a large structure of metal support beams and other electronics. The Earth and space are visible in the background.

Summary: Since Nov. 2, 2000, people have been orbiting our planet inside the International Space Station. These astronauts bring together science, technology, and human innovation to enable new technologies and research breakthroughs not possible on Earth. Through research conducted by crews on the space station, as well as scientific investigations installed outside the station, this incredible outpost has made fundamental and cross-discipline research possible, advancing scientific knowledge about Earth, space and the physical and biological sciences, benefiting people living on our home planet and future explorers. Let’s check in with NASA’s SpaceX Crew-4 team – consisting of NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines, Jessica Watkins, and ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti – and learn about their efforts to advance science and technology in low-Earth orbit. Join us to learn more about the crew and cargo, and explore resources designed get students engaged this summer!
