Summary: Join us to explore how to build and launch a satellite using NASA’s BEST curriculum. The activity will focus on teaching the engineering design process, building confidence, encouraging creativity and allowing for innovative designs. The activity can be used to supplement curricula during the school day or as an after-school activity. At the end of the session, participants will be able to develop lesson plans that are more interactive and engaging by independently using NASA resources, knowledge, and newly acquired skills in a culturally responsive manner.
