NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) is a series of STEM education experiences called “missions” for community college students seeking to transfer to a 4-year institution or go directly to the labor force.
NCAS MISSION 1: DISCOVER B
baseline introduction for students interested in participating in future NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) missions
gain a comprehensive understanding of NASA's current plans and activities, providing a foundation for their involvement in NCAS missions
STEM activities designed to enhance student’s knowledge and skills
Students will undergo knowledge assessments to ensure they grasp the material presented, with a final project that allows them to apply what they've learned.

Eligibility
U.S. Citizenship
High school graduate or equivalent
At least 18 years of age
Currently attend a U.S. community college
Concurrent enrollment or completion of 9+ hours of STEM coursework
Able to commit to a 5-week online session
Internet access
Have not previously participated in NCAS

300-word (max) explanation of why you want to participate in NCAS.
