PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT
NASA's Texas Space Grant Consortium host a week-long professional development training for teachers. This aerospace workshop, called LiftOff, emphasizes science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning experiences by incorporating a space science theme supported by NASA missions. Teacher participants are provided with information and experiences through speakers, hands-on activities and field investigations that promote space science and enrichment activities for themselves and others.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
NASA is committed to landing American astronauts, including the first woman and the first person of color, on the Moon by 2024. NASA is going back to the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and inspiration for a new generation of explorers. How will we build a global alliance and explore deep space for the benefit of all?
