Summary: Explore Earth’s freshwater resources and how NASA is researching how to manage these water resources and the balance the growing demand for water in the face of shifting availability and changing climate. The webinar discussion will focus on the scientific research process and the characteristics of good research questions. A variety of  Project-Based Learning questions worth answering will be considered to lead students to evaluate evidence and compare different possible answers. Each investigation requires reviewing data to evaluate how humans depend upon the resource, and how humans’ use of the resource creates both problems and opportunities.
