Since 2004, the Infrared Detector (IR) Lab has been affiliated with the proposed space mission NEOCam - Near-Earth Object Camera. The Space Shuttle Pavilion at Intrepid showcases the space shuttle Enterprise, the prototype NASA orbiter that paved the way for the space shuttle program.
